The HE-960RW is a high-grade 96 × 96 mm DIN panel-mount 2-channel resistivity meter from HORIBA's 48/96 Series, designed for control and monitoring of pure water and ultrapure water treatment and production processes. It incorporates a newly designed temperature measurement circuit that significantly improves temperature compensation performance — minimising errors caused by changes in both water temperature and ambient temperature. Two independent isolated sensor inputs allow simultaneous measurement at two process points with desalination rate display (0–100%). Four relay contact outputs, two isolated 4–20 mA outputs, RS-485 communication, UPW standard resistivity input, and clipping function complete the feature set.

Its defining improvement over the single-channel HE-480R is a newly designed temperature measurement circuit that significantly enhances temperature compensation accuracy — delivering stable resistivity readings even when both water temperature and ambient temperature fluctuate simultaneously. Two independent, electrically isolated sensor inputs allow concurrent measurement at two process points, with automatic display of desalination rate (0–100%) based on the ratio between channels. Four relay contact outputs, two isolated 4–20 mA outputs (selectable 4–20 or 0–20 mA), and RS-485 communication support comprehensive process integration. UPW standard resistivity input and clipping function are included. Optional transmitter and sensor combination calibration service is available.
