The HP-960FTP is the most fully featured panel-mount pH controller in HORIBA's 48/96 Series, housed in a 96 × 96 mm DIN enclosure. It combines time-division proportional control with four independent relay contact outputs — doubling the alarm and control channel count compared to the 48 mm-wide models — and adds a contact input for external hold operation, enabling integration with upstream process interlocks or SCADA systems. The time-division proportional control logic is identical to the HP-480TP: the duty cycle of the relay output is modulated within a configurable cycle time (5–300 s) in proportion to the pH deviation from setpoint, with an F-zone self-extending cycle time feature for smooth fine control near setpoint and a maximum control volume cap to prevent reagent overdosing. Enhanced EMC immunity (noise increase ≤±0.05 pH vs ±0.2 pH on the 48 mm models) makes the HP-960FTP suitable for electrically noisy industrial environments. Ultrasonic cleaners can be retrofitted without additional sequence control; for other cleaner types, customer sequence control is required.

• Enhanced EMC immunity: noise increase ≤±0.05 pH (industrial electromagnetic environment) — tighter than the 48 mm series (±0.2 pH).

Ultrasonic cleaners can be retrofitted without additional sequence control; for other cleaner types, customer-side sequence control is required.
