HE-480H Horiba

The HE-480H is a 48 × 96 mm DIN panel-mount conductivity meter from HORIBA's 48/96 Series, designed for high-conductivity applications including wastewater treatment, seawater monitoring, hydroponic nutrient solutions, and process concentration control. Using the 4-electrode method with FES Series sensors (cell constant 1.0 /cm), it measures conductivity up to 500 mS/cm and provides built-in seawater salinity (0–4%) and NaCl salinity (0–20%) conversion. A single isolated 4–20 mA output and two relay contact outputs make it a compact, cost-effective panel solution for high-conductivity monitoring.

The HE-480H is a panel-mount high-concentration conductivity meter from HORIBA's 48/96 Series, the panel-integrated counterpart to the field-mount HE-200H. Using the 4-electrode method with FES Series lead-type sensors, it reliably measures conductivity up to 500 mS/cm and provides built-in seawater and NaCl salinity conversion — making it well suited to wastewater treatment monitoring, seawater desalination, hydroponic nutrient solution management, and industrial process concentration control. Temperature compensation is range-dependent: NaCl characteristic for the lower ranges and fixed reference/coefficient for the mid range, with no compensation for the highest range. The panel face is rated IP65 and the instrument fits a standard 48 × 96 mm DIN cutout with a single isolated 4–20 mA output and two configurable relay contacts.
