HE-200H, Field-Installation Type Electric Conductivity Meter HE-200H, HORIBA

HE-200H Horiba

The HE-200H is a 4-wire field-installation conductivity meter from HORIBA's H-1 Series, designed for high-conductivity applications including CIP concentration and rinse monitoring, wastewater treatment, seawater salinity monitoring, hydroponic solutions, and process concentration gauging. Using the 4-electrode method with FES Series sensors (cell constants 0.1 and 1.0 /cm), it measures conductivity up to 200 mS/cm and offers built-in conversion to seawater salinity (%), NaCl %, and chemical concentrations (NaOH, HNO₃, H₃PO₄, plus four user-defined curves). Two isolated 4–20 mA outputs, three relay contacts, two contact inputs with output range switching, and RS-485 complete the feature set.

Add to bag

The HE-200H is a field-installation conductivity meter from HORIBA's H-1 Series, built for high-conductivity industrial applications where the 2-electrode sensors used in pure water instruments are insufficient. Using the 4-electrode method with FES Series sensors, it reliably measures conductivity up to 200 mS/cm and features built-in salinity and chemical concentration conversion — including seawater salinity, NaCl percentage, and process chemical concentrations (NaOH, HNO₃, H₃PO₄, and four user-defined curves). Two contact inputs allow remote output range switching for multi-range process applications such as CIP, where conductivity changes dramatically between cleaning, rinsing, and production phases. The instrument shares the same IP65-rated H-1 Series platform with two isolated 4–20 mA outputs, three relay contacts, and RS-485 communication.

Key Features HE-200H

  • 4-electrode method with FES Series sensors (cell constants 0.1 and 1.0 /cm) — stable measurement in high-conductivity samples up to 200 mS/cm practical range.
  • Built-in salinity conversion: seawater 0–4.00%, NaCl 0–20.0%.
  • Built-in concentration conversion: NaOH, HNO₃, H₃PO₄ (each 0–5.00%); 4 user-defined concentration curves (0–100%).
  • Auto-range function: decimal point shifts automatically across conductivity ranges.
  • Two isolated 4–20 mA DC outputs (max. 900 Ω): output 1 for conductivity or concentration, output 2 for temperature; free range setting.
  • Three relay contact outputs (SPDT 1c, 250 V AC / 30 V DC, 3 A): R1/R2 upper/lower alarm; FAIL alarm. Alarm settable on conductivity or density.
  • Two contact inputs: configurable as two inputs for 4-range selection, or one range selection + one hold — ideal for CIP phase switching.
  • RS-485 2-wire isolated communication; sensor type: lead or connector style (immersion or flow-through holder).
  • IP65 (IEC60529 / JIS C0920); pole (50 A) or wall mount; aluminium alloy housing; SUS304 fittings and hood; reflective monochrome LCD.
  • CE marked: EN61326-1 Class A, EN61010-1, RoHS EN50581; FCC Part 15 Class A.

Applications

The HE-200H is suited to CIP concentration and rinse monitoring, wastewater treatment, seawater desalination and salinity monitoring, hydroponic solution management, chemical process concentration control (NaOH, HNO₃, H₃PO₄), and any high-conductivity application requiring remote range switching and concentration conversion.

Installation and Safety Notes

Mount on a 50 A pole or wall. Power: 100–240 V AC ±10%, 50/60 Hz, 15 VA max. When sensor, transmission, or contact input cables are extended to 30 m or more, the CE marking surge test does not apply — fit appropriate surge absorption elements. An internal arrester (spark-over voltage 400 V) is provided. Operating temperature: −20 to 55 °C; storage: −25 to 65 °C; humidity: 5–90% RH non-condensing.
