Required for free chlorine determination in water samples.
Model CN-66F is required to perform free chlorine analysis in water samples. Free Chlorine Color Disc Test Kit measures free chlorine in the following range: 0 - 3.4 mg/L Cl₂. The kit uses Color Disc/DPD method. Free Chlorine Color Disc Test Set may be used for 100 samples. The smallest increment is 0.2 mg/L Cl₂.

Procedure for Cl₂ measurement
Before you start take into account the following:
- It is required to install the color disc on the center pin in the color comparator box (numbers to the front).
- It is recommended to rinse tubes with sample before the analysis.
- It is necessary to rinse tubes with deionized water after the analysis.
Testing procedure
Fill two tubes to the 5 mL line with sample. Place the first tube into the left opening of the color comparator box. Add the content of DPD Free Chlorine Powder Pillow to the second tube and swirl to mix. The pink color develops as the result of the reaction. Read the testing results within 1 minute. Install the second tube into the color comparator box, turn the color disc to match the color and analyze the testing results displayed in mg/L in the scale window.
