1454201 Free Chlorine Test Kit, Model CN-70F

Free Chlorine Test Kit is required for free chlorine determination in the range of 0.02 - 0.68 mg/L Cl₂ and 0 - 3.4 mg/L Cl₂ in water samples. The kit uses Color Disc/DPD method. Free Chlorine Test Set can be used to conduct 200 tests. The smallest increments are 0.02 and 0.1 mg/L Cl₂. Model CN-70F features quick and reliable free chlorine analysis in the laboratory or in the field.

Procedure for Cl₂ determination

Before you start take into account the following:

• It is required to analyze the sample instantly after collection.
• It is recommended to set the source of light above tubes to find the color match.
• It is necessary to read free chlorine testing results instantly after the reagent is added to prevent monochloramine interference.

Test procedure

For determination of free chlorine in the range of 0.02 - 0.68 mg/L Cl₂, insert the long-path adapter in the color comparator box. Add the collected sample up to the top line of the first tube. Place the first tube into the left opening of the color comparator box. Fill the bottle to the 25‑mL mark with sample. Add the content of DPD Free Chlorine Powder Pillow and swirl to mix. Analyze the testing results within 1 minute. Transfer the concent of the bottle into the second tube. Install the second tube into the color comparator box, rotate the color disc to determine the color match and read the testing results in the scale window. Divide the value by 5 to get the testing results in mg/L.
