2659942 Stablcal Stabilised Formazine Turbidity Standard 10.0 NTU, 100 mL

Stablcal Stabilised Formazine Turbidity Standard is used for calibration of the turbidity meter. Ready-to-use Standard Solution is packaged in 100 mL bottle. 4000 NTU is the concentration of the solution. Stabilised Formazine Primary Standard Solution can be diluted to be used with any turbidimeter TL23, TU52, 2100Q, 2100N and 2100AN series.

Procedure for infrequently used StablCal Turbidity Standards

This procedure applies to standards used over a week ago or to new standards received from the manufacturer.

For bulk solution standards: Invert the standard repeatedly for a few minutes before breaking the bottle seal. Let the standard settle down for 5 minutes. After that invert 2-3 times before adding the standard into the sample cell. Rinse the sample cell at least once with the bulk standard. Then eliminate any optical deviations on the sample cell. Add the standard in the sample cell, cap the sample cell and the bulk solution.

For bulk solution and sample cell standards: In addition to the abovementioned procedure, invert the sample cell 2-3 times and allow the sample to settle down for a few minutes. The sample cell containing the standard is now prepaired for the measurement.

Storage conditions

Store standards at the temperature from 5 ˚C to 25 ˚C. Refrigerate standards for long-term storage at 5 ˚C.
