Turbidity Calibration Set (p/n 2659500) is required to conduct turbidity meter calibration. 500 mL bottles with <0.1, 20, 200, 1000, 4000 NTU concentrations and sealed vial with 7500 NTU value are included in the Turbidity Calibration Kit. Stablcal Turbidity Standards Calibration Kit are compatible for use with any turbidimeter. The vial may be used only with 2100AN/ 2100AN IS turbidity meter. Stablcal Stabilized Formazin Standards contains the light scattering polymer, featuring excellent performance equivalent to traditional Formazin Primary Turbidity Standards.

Procedure for infrequently used StablCal Turbidity Standards

This procedure is applicable to standards that were utilized more than a week ago or recently received standards.

For bulk solution standards: Invert the standard repeatedly for a few minutes minutes before breaking the seal on the bottle. After 5 minutes, invert 2-3 times before pouring the standard into the clean sample cell. Rinse the sample cell at least once with the bulk standard. After that remove any optical deviations on the sample cell. Add the standard in the sample cell, cap the sample cell and the bulk solution.

For bulk solution and sample cell standards: In addition to the abovementioned procedure, invert the sample 2-3 times. After a few minutes, perform the measurement.

For < 0.1 NTU StablCal Solution: The standard with < 0.1 NTU value has separate procedure (see the instructions).

Storage conditions

Store standards at the temperature from 10 °C to 25 °C in the place protected from light. Refrigerate standards at the temperature of 5 ˚C for long-term storage.
