223103 Total Chlorine Test Kit, Model CN-66T

Total Chlorine Test Set measures total chlorine in the range from 0 to 3.4 mg/L Cl₂ in water samples by Color Disc/DPD method. Model CN-66T can be used to conduct 100 total chlorine tests. The smallest increment is 0.2 mg/L Cl₂.

• DPD Total Chlorine Reagent Powder Pillows (p/n 1407699)
• DPD Chlorine Color Disc, 0-3.4 mg/L (p/n 990200)
• Color Comparator Box (p/n 173200)
• 18 mm Plastic Viewing Tubes, with caps (p/n 4660004)

Procedure for Cl₂ determination

Before starting analysis:

• Conduct the sample analysis instantly after collection.
• Use sunlight or lamp as the source of light to match the color with the color comparator box.
• Analyze the value in the middle of the two segments if the color match is between two segments.

Test procedure

Fill two tubes to the first line with sample. Place the first tube into the left opening of the color comparator box. Add the content of DPD Total Chlorine Powder Pillow to the second tube and swirl to mix. The pink color develops as the result of the reaction. Wait 3 minutes and read the testing results within 6 minutes. Install the second tube into the color comparator box. Set the color comparator box in front of the light. Rotate the color disc to match the color. Analyze testing results displayed in mg/L in the scale window.
