2064400 Ozone Test Kit, Model OZ-2

Ozone Test Kit is a simple and fast way for ozone determination in water samples. Model OZ-2 measures ozone in the range from 0 to 2.2 mg/L O₃. Ozone Test Set uses Color Disc/DPD method. The set may be used to evaluate 100 samples. The smallest increment is 0.05 mg/L O₃. Get fast, accurate test results with the cost-effective test kit.

Procedure for O₃ analysis

Before you start take into account the following:

• Rinse tubes with the sample before the measurement.
• Rinse tubes with the deionized water after the measurement.
• Use the value in the middle of the two segments if colors between two segments are matching.
• The test is directly affected by the presence of chlorine, bromine, iodine and oxidized manganese.

Testing procedure

Fill two tubes to the first line with sample. Install the first tube into the left opening of the color comparator box. Pour the content of DPD Total Chlorine Reagent Powder Pillow to the second tube and swirl to mix. The pink color develops as the result of the reaction. Wait 1 minutes and read testing results within 6 minutes. Insert the second tube into the color comparator box. Set the color comparator box in front of the light. Rotate the color disc to match the color. Read the ozone concentration results (mg/L O₃) in the scale window.
