Brilliant-Green Bile Lactose Broth (GranuCult® prime) is a granulated dehydrated culture medium containing brilliant green and bile salts to inhibit Gram-positive and many non-target organisms, with lactose as fermentable carbohydrate for coliform detection. The medium complies with ISO 4831, ISO 4832, APHA and FDA-BAM methods for selective enrichment, enumeration and confirmation of Escherichia coli and other fecal coliform organisms.
