Industrial-grade CO₂ and humidity probe with patented CARBOCAP® IR technology for continuous process monitoring. Direct in-pipeline installation, high accuracy, minimal maintenance, and flexible connectivity for demanding applications such as carbon capture (CCUS).
The MGP241 is a robust multigas probe engineered for accurate, continuous measurement of carbon dioxide (CO₂) and humidity (H₂O vapor) directly in industrial process pipelines. Using Vaisala's patented CARBOCAP® infrared technology, it delivers stable, drift-compensated results without the need for calibration gases during routine operation.
Applications
MGP241 is ideal for carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) processes, industrial gas measurement, environmental monitoring, and process optimization. Its direct installation capability eliminates the need for moisture removal or sample treatment, saving time and reducing operational costs.
Design and Installation
With IP65-rated stainless-steel construction and sintered PTFE filtering, the MGP241 is built to endure harsh industrial conditions. It offers both Modbus RTU and 4–20 mA outputs for easy integration into SCADA and monitoring systems, and is fully compatible with Vaisala Indigo transmitters for remote access and display. Installation is plug-and-play, with minimal maintenance required.
