Double Seam System 60B

Double Seam System 60B is the smallest computer system for beverage and food can quality control, suitable for small-scale canning and metal packaging industry. The system measures seam thickness on the external surface and seam height, end hook, body hook, overlap, seam gap and calculated body hook butting on the inside of the package. Winseam 5 Lite installed in the system is the light version of the Winseam 5.0 software. Metop quality control analyzer measures the aforementioned seam parameters and highlights critical errors. All testing results are traceable and may be stored on the computer. Double Seam System 60B is also equiped with "Plug and Play" function that allows start the system within several minutes.

Procedure for seam evaluation

Firstly, measure the thickness of the seam. Secondly, cut the can with the seam saw to inspect the seam. Finally, inspect the inside of the seam and measure the height of the seam, end hook, body hook, overlap, seam gap and calculated body hook butting.
