Measures & How to Use

  • Primary Application: Perfect for agricultural meteorology, climatological studies, hydrology, and educational environmental monitoring projects.
  • Mount the unit on a mast in an open area using the provided fixing support. Use the integrated bubble level to achieve a perfectly horizontal orientation.
  • Connect the two separate sensors to a data logger using the 2.5-pole M12 connectors and appropriate cables (ordered separately).
  • The instrument outputs a analog millivolt (mV) signal. Apply the unique calibration factors from the provided report to convert these signals to W/m².
  • Calculate Albedo = (Reflected Radiation / Incident Radiation). Derive Net Radiation = Incident - Reflected.
