LCW632 Manganese Reagent Set, 0.005-0.7 mg/L Mn

LCW632 reagent set (13mm) measures 0.005-0.7 mg/L Mn in drinking water, mineral water and raw water. The product uses TMB method. LCW632 Cuvette test may be used for evaluation of up to 50 tests. The product is compatible with the following DR series spectrophotometers: DR3900, DR6000, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000. LCW632 reagent kit is intended to be used together with 50 mm rectangle-cuvette LZP341.

Prepare the blank by filling 50mm rectangular cuvette with sample. Prepare the sample by mixing the 0.5 mL of reagent A, 5.0 mL of sample and 0.5 mL of reagent B in the beaker. After 5 minutes, add 1.0 mL of reagent C and stir the cuvette content. After that insert the blank cuvette in the Hach instrument, select the test and push ZERO. Remove the blank cuvette and pour the prepared sample into another 50mm rectangular cuvette. Insert the cuvette into the cell holder and evaluate the sample using spectrophotometer. Manganese (IV) ions form color complex with tetramethylbenzidine that must be evaluated photometrically at 450 nm. It is recommended to review the list of ions that have been checked against the given concentrations and do not cause interference (see manual for detailed information regarding interfering substances and interference levels).

LCW632 must be stored at the temperature between 4 °C and 8 °C. The product should be protected from the light.
