LCW250 Reducing Agents Reagent Set 0.05-1.0 mg/L DEHA

LCW250 Hach

LCW Reagent Set measures diethylhydroxylamine (DEHA) in boiler water.

Add to bag

LCW250 reagent set (13mm) measures 0.05 - 1.0 mg/L DEHA in boiler water. The product uses iron reduction method. Article LCW250 can be used to evaluate up to 100 boiler water samples. The product may be evaluated using DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000. LCW250 Cuvette test is intended to be used together with LCW906 cuvettes.

Add 0.2 mL of solution B and 5.0 mL of sample into the empty cuvette LCW 906 using pipette. Then pour reagent A from the powder pillow into the cuvette using funnel. After that close and invert the cuvette until the content is eventually dissolved. After 15 minutes, clean the cuvette outside and evaluate boiler water sample using Hach spectrophotometer. Calculate testing results in terms of other reducing agents using recommended factor (see manual). DEHA and other reducing agents reduce Iron-III to Iron-II that enters into reaction with the reagent forming violet-color complex. The violet coloration is evaluated photometrically. It is recommended to thoroughly clean LCW906 cuvettes after each measurement.

LCW250 reagent set storage conditions are from 15 °C to 25 °C.
