LCK Reagent Set measures sulphide in wastewater.
LCW053 Cuvette test (13mm) measures 0.1-2.0 mg/L S²⁻ in wastewater. The product uses dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine method. The product may be used to evaluate 35 samples of wastewater. LCW053 reagent set is compatible with DR3900 and DR6000.
Sample cuvette preparation: Pour 50.0 mL sample, 10.0 mL solution A and 0.5 mL solution B in the beaker. Blank-value cuvette preparation: Add 50.0 mL distilled water, 10.0 mL solution A and 0.5 mL solution B into another beaker. Stir the content of both beakers and after 10 minutes and transfer to 10 mm rectangular cuvettes. Insert the blank-value cuvette in one of the aforementioned instruments, select the test and push ZERO. Remove the blank-value cuvette from the cell holder, insert the sample cuvette and push READ. Dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine enters into reaction with hydrogen sulphide in order to form intermediate compound. The intermediate compound turns into leucomethylene blue that is oxidized to methylene blue by iron (III) ions. Perform the analysis immediately after the sample has been collected.
LCW053 reagent kit storage conditions are between 15 °C and 25 °C.
