LCK Reagent Set measures formaldehyde in chipboard, fabrics, air, cosmetics and waste water.
LCS325 Cuvette test (13mm) measures 0.01-1.0 mg/L H₂CO in chipboard, fabrics, air, cosmetics and waste water. The product uses acetylacetone method. Article LCS325 can be used for 24 tests. The product can be measured on DR3900, DR6000, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000. LCS325 reagent set is intended to be used together with 50 mm semi-micro rectangle-cuvettes.
Prepare the sample cuvette by pouring 2.0 mL of sample and 1.0 mL solution A in the sample cuvette. Prepare the blank-value cuvette by adding 2.0 mL of distilled water and the 1.0 mL solution A in the blank-value cuvette. After that heat both cuvettes in the thermostat and allow to cool down to room temperature. Transfer the content of each cuvette to 50 mm semi-micro cuvettes and clean the surface of the cuvettes. Insert the blank-value cuvette in the spectrophotometer and select the program. Remove the blank-value cuvette and evaluate using Hach instrument. Formaldehyde enters into reaction in aqueous solution with ammonium ions and acetylacetone giving yellow dye. It is required to subjected testing results to plausibility checks.
LCS325 reagent kit storage conditions are between 15 °C and 25 °C.
