LCK Reagent Set measures sulphide in wastewater and raw water.
13mm LCK653 Cuvette test measures 0.1-2.0 mg/L S2- in wastewater and raw water. The product uses dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine method (ISO 10530-1991, DIN 38405-D26). Article LCK653 can be used for analysis of 25 samples. LCK653 reagent set evaluation may be conducted using one of the following spectrophotometers: DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.
Firstly, pour 4.0 mL of sample and 0.2 mL of solution A in the cuvette. Secondly, close the cuvette and invert several times. Thirdly, invert the cuvette a few times and thoroughly clean the cuvette from the outside. Finally, insert the cuvette into the instrument and evaluate testing results. Dimethyl-p-phenylenediamine enter into reaction with hydrogen sulphide to form an intermediate compound that turns into leucomethylene blue. The leucomethylene blue is oxidized to methylene blue by iron(III) ions. The sample analysis should be conducted instantly after collecting the wastewater and raw water sample. It is recommended to use carbon-free water to dilute sample.
The required LCK653 reagent set storage temperature is between 15 °C and 25 °C.
