LCK549 Cuvette test measures 0.01-0.5 mg/L PO₄-P in wastewater, drinking water, boiler water and other liquids. The product uses phosphormolybdenum blue method (ISO 6878-1-1986, DIN 38405 D11-4). The product may be used to evaluate up to 20 water samples. 13mm LCK549 reagent set is compatible with the the following spectrophotometers: DR3900 and DR6000. It is required to use LCK348, LCK349 or LCK350 for total phosphorus determination.

Fill the blank cuvette with DI water and insert in the instrument. Then remove the blank cuvette and pipet 0.5 mL of solution A, 5.0 mL of sample and 0.5 mL of solution B in the sample cuvette. Close the sample cuvette with DosiCap C and shake vigorously. After 10 minutes, invert the cuvette several times, insert the cuvette into the cell holder of the spectrophotometer and push READ. Phosphate ions enter into reaction with molybdate and antimony ions in acidic solution and form antimonyl phosphormolybdate complex that is reduced by ascorbic acid to phosphormolybdenum blue. Testing results should be analyzed using photometric evaluation. It is recommended to filtrate the collected sample before analysis.

LCK549 reagent set must be stored at the temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C.
