LCK Reagent Set measures nonionic surfactants in water, waste water, surface water, formulations, degreasing baths, wash solutions and process analysis.
LCK433 Cuvette test measures 6-200 mg/L TRITON x 100 in water, waste water, surface water and other liquids. The product uses TBPE method. The product can be used to evaluate 25 samples. 13mm LCK433 reagent kit may be measured using DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.
Add 0.2 mL of the collected sample and close the cuvette. Hold the cuvette between thumb and index finger and mix the cuvette content for around 2 minutes. The phase separation may take up to several hours if the cuvette is shaken too vigorously. Nevertheless if the cuvette is inverted too cautiously it is possible that the extraction can be incomplete. Wait for phase separation to finish, clean the outside of the cuvette and insert the cuvette into the cell holder of the spectrophotometer. Nonionic surfactants react with the indicator TBPE and form complexes that are extracted in dichloromethane and photometrically evaluated. Cationic surfactants may cause high-bias testing results. Anionic surfactants can cause low-bias testing results.
LCK433 Cuvette test storage conditions are between 15 °C and 25 °C.
