LCK Reagent Set measures adsorbable organic halogen (AOX) in wastewater and process water.
LCK390 Cuvette test measures 0.05-3.0 mg/L AOX in wastewater and process water. The product uses digestion + iron(III)-thiocyanate method (DIN EN ISO 9562). Article LCK390 can be used to evaluate 24 tests. LCK390 reagent set may be evaluated with DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.
The analysis of the sample containing adsorbable organic halogen (AOX) has the following procedure: (I) concentration, (II) preparation of reaction tubes, (III) rinsing and digestion and (IV) cuvette test analysis. It is required to review the preparation recommendations and collect items for each phase of the procedure. The AOX analysis is performed by concentrating AOX compounds by adsorption on active carbon mat (Carbodisk) using magnetic stirrer and rinsing out the inorganic chloride. It is required to digest the adsorbed AOX compounds on the Carbodisk in thermoreactor and evaluate using one of the aforementioned spectrophotometers. It is recommended to use accessories from manufacturer to ensure error-free testing results.
LCK390 reagent kit storage conditions are from 2 °C to 8 °C.
