Article LCK360 measures 0.2-6.0 mg/L Zn and 0.24-7.20 mg/L Zn in wastewater, drinking water, surface water and other liquids. The product uses PAR method. LCK360 Cuvette test can be used for 24 tests. Each package contains zero solution. 13mm LCK360 reagent kit is compatible with DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000. It is recommended to use Crack-Set LCW902 for digestion of total zinc.

Add 0.2 mL sample and 0.2 mL solution A in the cuvette using pipette. Then screw the cuvette cap back onto the cuvette fluting at the top. After that insert the zero cuvette into the cell holder of the Hach spectrophotometer, select the test and push ZERO. Remove the zero cuvette and insert the cuvette with the wastewater, drinking water or other liquid sample. Finally, conduct the sample analysis using DR series instrument. Zinc ions are forming water-soluble orange-red-colored complex with 4-(2-pyridylazo)-resorcin (PAR) at pH 6-11. It is recommended to consider the reaction time for error-free results. The required pH of the water sample: 3-10 pH. The recommended temperature of the water sample and reagents: 15-25 °C (59-77 °F).

Short-term preservation is not required. Long-term conservation requires wastewater, drinking water and other liquid sample pH to be reduced using nitric acid to pH<2. The sample must be carried and stored in glass, polyethylene or borosilicate glass container. Storage conditions of the LCK360 reagent set are from 15 °C to 25 °C.
