LCK Reagent Set measures molybdenum in raw and ground water, drinking water and boiler water.
LCK330 reagent set (13mm) measures 3-300 mg/L Mo in raw water, ground water, drinking water and other liquids. The product uses thioglycolic acid method. LCK330 Cuvette test may be used to conduct evaluation of 24 tests. The product is compatible with the following DR series instruments: DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000. It is recommended to use the Crack Set (LCW902) for raw water, ground water or other liquid sample digestion. It is required to filtrate the water sample using membrane filter LCW904 to eliminate turbidities.
Add 0.4 mL of sample and invert the closed cuvette several times. The collected sample is required to be colorless and free of turbidities. After 10 minutes, invert the content of the cuvette a few more times, clean the cuvette and measure using Hach spectrophotometer. If the sample is colored, the blank is required to be measured and subtracted from the obtained value. Blank preparation: Drip 2.0 mL distilled water and 0.4 mL sample. Molybdate ions enter into reaction with thioglycolic acid and form yellow complex. The color should be evaluated photometrically. Perform the sample analysis at the recommended temperature (see manual for detailed information regarding temperature of the water sample and reagents).
LCK330 Cuvette test storage conditions are from 2 °C to 8 °C.
