LCK326 Magnesium Cuvette Test, 0.5-50 mg/L Mg

13mm LCK326 Cuvette test measures 0.5-10.00 mg/L Mg and 10-50 mg/L Mg in raw water, drinking water, boiler water and other liquids and soils. The product uses metalphthalein method. LCK326 reagent set may be used for evaluation of 25 tests. The product can be evaluated using DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.

Article LCK326 may be measured in the following ranges: Measuring range I (0.5-10.00 mg/L Mg) and measuring range II (10-50 mg/L Mg). For evaluation in the measuring range I, add 3.0 mL of solution A, close and invert the cuvette. After 2 minutes, insert the cuvette into the instrument cell holder. After that open the cuvette and pipet 2.0 mL of sample. Close the cuvette, invert a few times and evaluate results of the measurement.

For measuring range II, add 3.5 mL of solution A, close the cuvette and insert into the spectrophotometer. Afterwards open the cuvette and pipet 0.5 mL of sample. After 1 minute evaluate the inverted cuvette using Hach spectrophotometer. Magnesium ions enter into reaction with metal phthaleins to give a violet color that must be evaluated photometrically.

LCK326 Cuvette test storage conditions are between 15 °C and 25 °C. The product is required to be protected from light.
