LCK Reagent Set measures formaldehyde in chipboard after previous perforation (DIN 120), fabrics, air, cosmetics and wastewater.
LCK325 reagent set (13mm) measures 0.5-10 mg/L H₂CO in chipboard, fabrics, air, cosmetics and wastewater. The product uses acetylacetone method. Article LCK325 can be used to conduct analysis of 24 samples. Each package of the product includes zero solution. LCK325 Cuvette test may be evaluated with DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.
Firstly, mix 1.0 mL of sample and 1.0 mL solution A in the cuvette. Secondly, close the cuvette and reverse the cuvette content several times. Thirdly, heat the cuvette in the thermostat at 40 °C (104 °F) for 10 minutes. Finally, cool down the cuvette content, insert the cuvette in the instrument, select the test and push READ. Formaldehyde enter into reaction in aqueous solution with ammonium ions and acetylacetone giving yellow color. The color change must be measured using DR series spectrophotometer. It is required to perform plausibility checks of measurement results.
The recommended storage temperature of the LCK325 reagent kit is from 15 °C to 25 °C.
