LCK Reagent Set measures chlorine, ozone and chlorine dioxide in wastewater, industrial water and drinking water.
13mm LCK310 Cuvette test measures 0.05-2.0 mg/L Cl₂, 0.05-2.0 mg/L O₃ and 0.09-3.80 mg/L ClO₂ in wastewater, industrial water and drinking water. The product uses DPD method (ISO 7393-1-2-1985, DIN 38408 G4-2). Article LCK310 may be used to conduct evaluation of up to 24 samples. The product can be measured with DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.
Fill the cuvette with the sample and invert the cuvette content a few times. After 1 minute, thoroughly clean the outside of the cuvette and insert into the cell holder of the instrument. Add 1 drop of potassium iodide solution A, close cuvette and invert several times. After 2 minutes, evaluate using Hach spectrophotometer. Oxidizing agents react with diethyl-p-phenylene-diamine and form red color that must be evaluated photometrically. It is required to subjected the measurement results to plausibility checks (dilute and/or spike the sample). It is not recommended to pipette wastewater, industrial water and other liquid samples, as it may cause gas stripping losses.
It is required to conduct analysis instantly after the sample has been collected. The recommended storage temperature of the LCK310 reagent set is from 2 °C to 8 °C. The product must be stored in refrigerated condition.
