LCK303 Ammonium Cuvette Test, 2.0-47.0 mg/L NH₄-N

Article LCK303 measures 2.0-47.0 mg/L NH₄-N and 2.5-60 mg/L NH₄ in surface water and other liquids or soils. LCK Reagent Set uses indophenol blue method (ISO 7150-1, DIN 38406 E5-1, UNI 11669:2017). The product can be used for 25 tests. 13mm LCK303 Cuvette test can be evaluated on DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.

Before you start take into account the following:

• The pH of the water or soil sample should be in the range between 4-9 pH and the temperature of the sample and reagents must be around 20 °C (68 °F).
• Large ammonium concentration may cause result displays within the measuring range.

Procedure for NH₄-N determination

After foil removal from the cuvette the water or soil sample must be pipetted in the cuvette, the cuvette cap should be screwed upside-down and the sample and reagent must be vigorously shaked. After 15 minutes the cuvette should be cleaned from the outside and evaluated using Hach spectrophotometer.

Sample preparation

Analyze samples as soon as possible for best results. The short or long-term conservations are not recommended. The water or soil sample must be transported in the glass or polyethylene (PE) container. The product storage conditions are between 2 °C and 8 °C. It is recommended to store the sample in refrigerated condition.
