LCK Reagent Set measures ammonium in wastewater plant and industrial wastewater.
LCK302 Cuvette test measures 47-130 mg/L NH₄-N and 60-167 mg/L NH₄ in wastewater plant and industrial wastewater. The product uses indophenol blue method (ISO 7150-1, DIN 38406 E5-1, UNI 11669:2017). Article LCK302 can be used for evaluation of 25 tests. LCK product can be evaluated on the following instruments: DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.
Remove the foil from the cuvette, unscrew and pour 0.2 mL of the sample. Screw the cap upside-down and mix the cuvette content. After 15 minutes conduct the wastewater sample analysis. Ammonium ions are reacting at pH 12.6 with hypochlorite ions and salicylate ions in the presence of sodium nitroprusside and forming indophenol blue that must be photometrically evaluated in the spectrophotometer. pH of the water sample is required to be between 4-9 pH and the temperature of the water sample and reagents should be approximately 20 °C (68 °F).
The short-term and long-term conservation of ammonium containing samples is not recommended. The sampling vessel material is required to be either glass or polyethylene. Analyze wastewater samples as soon as possible for reliable and error-free results. LCK302 reagent set storage conditions are between 2 °C and 8 °C. The product must be stored frozen.
