13mm LCK301 Cuvette test measures 0.02-0.5 mg/L Al in drinking water, surface water and other liquids. The product uses chromazurol S method. Article LCK301 can be used for 24 tests. The product can be evaluated on DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.

Add 2.0 mL of solution A, pipet 3.0 mL of the water sample and pour 1 level spoonful of reagent B into the cuvette. Close the cuvette and invert a few times (freeze-dried contents must be completely dissolved). After 25 minutes clean the outside of the zero cuvette and the cuvette containing water sample and reagents. Insert the zero cuvette into the spectrophotometer, select the test and push ZERO. Remove the zero cuvette and insert the cuvette with the water sample and reagents. Chromazurol S forms green colored lake with aluminium in weakly acidic acetate-buffered solutions. Higher heavy metals concentrations may interfere with the determination. Fluoride interference may be removed by fuming off with sulphuric acid. Higher pH causes precipitation or complexing of the aluminium, in this case low-bias results will be obtained. If necessary the pH of the sample should be adjusted correspondingly by adding small amount of nitric acid (HNO₃).

LCK301 storage conditions are between 15 °C and 25 °C.
