LCK Reagent Set measures nickel acid in nickel sulphate and nickel sulphamate baths.
LCK237 Cuvette test (13mm) measures 5-120 g/L Ni in nickel sulphate and nickel sulphamate baths. The product uses intrinsic baths colour method. Article LCK237 can be used for analysis of up to 25 collected samples. The product can be evaluated using Hach DR series spectrophotometers DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.
Firstly, pipet 1.0 mL of sample. Secondly, close the cuvette and invert the content of the cuvette several times. Thirdly, clean the outside of the cuvette. Finally, insert the cuvette into the cell holder of the instrument, select the test and push READ. The blue-green color of the dissolved nickel ions must be evaluated using one of the aforementioned spectrophotometers. The results of the analysis must be subjected to plausibility checks. Read safety information and check the expiration date before using the product. It is recommended to use personal protective equipment.
For short-term conservation, the sample preparation is not required. For longer-term preservation (up to 1 month), it is required to decrease the pH with nitric acid to pH<2. Store the collected sample in the glass, polyethylene or borosilicate glass container. LCK237 Cuvette test storage conditions are between 15 °C and 25 °C.
