LCK213 Chromic acid baths Cuvette Test, 0.5-450 g/L CrO₃

LCK213 Cuvette test measures 0.5-5.0 g/L CrO₃ and 50-450 g/L CrO₃ in galvanic chromium baths. The product uses intrinsic baths colour method. Article LCK213 may be used to conduct analysis of up to 25 tests. The product can be evaluated using the following DR series instruments: DR3900, DR6000, DR1900, DR2800, DR3800 and DR5000.

For measuring range 0.5-5.0 g/L CrO₃ it is required to pipet 0.2 mL of sample, close the cuvette, invert the cuvette content several times and evaluate testing results using Hach spectrophotometer.

For measuring range 50-450 g/L CrO₃ it is required to mix 3.8 mL of solution A with 0.2 mL of sample in the reaction tube and invert the closed reaction tube a few times. After that pipet 0.2 mL of prediluted sample in the cuvette, invert the content of the cuvette several times and conduct the measurement. Chromic acid dissolves in dilute acids, forming chromates with an intensive yellow coloration that is evaluated photometrically. It is recommended to use distilled water instead of solution A in order to prevent turbidity caused by high chromium concentration (more than 350 g/L).

LCK213 reagent kit storage conditions are between 15 °C and 25 °C.
