4447169 Ammonia ISA Reagent Powder Pillows, 0.1-10.0 mg/L NH₃-N

Reagent Powder Pillows measure ammonia nitrogen in wastewater. Each package of the product contains 100 Powder Pillows.

Before starting analysis:

• Use clean glass or plastic bottles with tight-fitting caps to collect sample. 
• Prepare, condition and calibrate the probe before first use.

Procedure for NH₃-N measurement

Add 25mL of the wastewater sample and Ammonia ISA Powder Pillow to the beaker. Stir the beaker content at moderate rate using magnetic stirrer. Rinse the probe with deionized water and dry the probe with lint-free cloth. Put the probe in the solution and evaluate testing results. See manual for detailed information regarding calibration procedure.

Sample preparation

Adjust pH of the wastewater sample using concentrated sulfuric acid to 1.5-2.0 pH. Store the sample at the temperature below 6 °C (43 °F) for up to 28 days.
