2842800 Chlorine Dioxide Test Kit Color Disc, Model CLD-2

Chlorine Dioxide Test Set is required for chlorine dioxide determination in water samples. The set measures chlorine dioxide concentration in the range of 0 - 2.0 ppm ClO₂. Chlorine Dioxide Test Kit uses Color Disc/DPD method. Model CLD-2 may be used for evaluation of 100 samples. The smallest increment is 0.1 ClO₂.

Procedure for ClO₂ measurement

Before you start take into account the following:

• Evaluate the sample instantly after collection.
• Undissolved reagent has no effect on test accuracy.
• Glycine reagent removes 6 mg/L chlorine from the sample.

Testing procedure

Add 5mL of the sample into two tubes. Install the first tube into the left opening of the color comparator box. Pipet 2 drops of glycine reagent to the second tube and swirl to mix. Add DPD Free Chlorine Reagent Powder Pillow and mix the content of the second tube. The pink color appears as the result of the reaction. Insert the second tube into the color comparator box. Set the color comparator box in front of the light. Rotate the color disc to identify the matching color and read testing results in mg/L in the scale window.
