Test 'N Tube Reagent Set measures phosphate in water, wastewater and seawater.
16 mm low range Test 'N Tube Cuvette test measures 0.06-3.5 mg/L PO₄ in water, wastewater and seawater. The product uses PhosVer 3 with acid persulfate digestion method (8190). Article 2742645 can be used to conduct 25-50 tests. The product is compatible only with DR900 colorimeter.
Before you start take into account the following:
- It is recommended to measure the reagent blank value for each reagent lot to receive reliable results.
- It is required to dispose reacted samples as hazardous waste.
Procedure for PO₄ determination
Add 5.0 mL of sample and content of Potassium Persulfate Powder Pillow for Phosphonate to the vial. Reverse the vial to dissolve the powder and insert it into the reactor for 30 minutes. After that pipet 2 mL of 1.54 N Sodium Hydroxide Standard Solution. Shake the vial content, insert the vial into the 16‑mm cell holder and select the program. Add the content of PhosVer 3 Powder Pillow and stir the closed vial. After 2 minutes insert the vial in the instrument and push READ.
Sample preparation
The recommended storage temperature of the product is from 10 °C to 25 °C.
