2697942 Stablcal Turbidity Standard 0.30 NTU, 100 mL

Stablcal Turbidity Standard (p/n 2697942) is required for calibration of the turbidimeter. The bottle has the following volume: 100 mL. Stablcal Turbidity Standard has the following NTU value: 0.30 NTU. The standard is compatible with TL23, TU52, 2100Q, 2100N and 2100AN. Stabilised Formazine Primary Standard Solution is based on decades of experience in turbidity analysis.

Procedure for infrequently used StablCal Turbidity Standards

This process applies to standards that have been in use for more than a week or to recently received standards.

For bulk solution standards: Mix the content of the bottle for 2-3 minutes. Allow the standard to settle down for 5 minutes. Then invert 2-3 times before adding the standard into the clean sample cell. Use the bulk standard to rinse the sample cell. After that remove any optical abnormalities on the sample cell. Add the standard to the sample cell, close the sample cell and the bulk solution.

For bulk solution and sample cell standards: In addition to the abovementioned procedure, invert the sample cell 2-3 times and let the sample settle down for 2-3 minutes. The sample cell containing the standard is now prepaired for the measurement.

Storage conditions

It is required to keep solutions at the temperature from 5 °C to 25 °C. It is not recommended to place used standard from the sample cells back into the original container. It is recommended to let the standard to adjust to ambient instrument temperature before usage.
