2660142 Stablcal Stabilised Formazine Turbidity Standard 20 NTU, 100 mL

Stablcal Stabilised Formazine Turbidity Standard is used for calibration of the turbidity meter. The standard has the following capacity: 100 mL. Stabilised True Formazine Primary Standard Solution has the following concentration: 20 NTU. The solution is suited for all turbidimeters. Stablcal Turbidity Standard is based on Formazin Primary Standards.

Procedure for frequently used StablCal Turbidity Standards

This procedure is applicable to the daily or weekly used standards.

For bulk solution standards: Invert the standard 10 times. Verify that the sample cell has no optical deviations. Invert 2-3 times before adding the standard into the sample cell. Rinse the sample cell at least once with the bulk standard solution. Fill and close the sample cell.

For bulk solution and sample cell standards: In addition to the aforementioned procedure, let the sample cell settle down for 2-3 minutes. The sample cell is now ready for the analysis.

Storage conditions

It is required to store the solution at the temperature from 5 °C to 25 °C. It is recommended to protect the standard from light. It is not recommended to transfer the solution to another container for storage purposes.
