2659849 Stablcal Stabilised Formazine Turbidity Standard 1.0 NTU, 500 mL

Stablcal Turbidity Standard is required for simple and reliable calibration of the turbidity meter. The capacity of the solution is 500 mL. Ready-to-use Standard Solution has the concentration of 1.0 NTU. Stabilised Formazine Primary Standard Solution is manufactured to be used with TL23, TU52, 2100Q, 2100N, 2100AN series turbidimeters. Stablcal Turbidity Standard features enhanced stability saving time and effort required for lab-prepared standards.

Procedure for frequently used StablCal Turbidity Standards

This procedure applies to the daily or weekly used standards.

For bulk solution standards: Firstly, invert the standard 10 times. Secondly, eliminate any optical variances on the sample cell by oiling and indexing the sample cell. Thirdly, invert 2-3 times before adding the standard into the sample cell and rinse the sample cell at least one time with the bulk standard solution. Finally, fill and close the sample cell.

For bulk solution and sample cell standards: In addition to the abovementioned procedure, let the sample cell settle down for 2-3 minutes. The sample cell containing the standard is prepaired for the analysis.

Storage conditions

It is required to store standards at the temperature from 5 °C to 25 °C. It is important to protect standards from direct sunlight. It is not recommended to remove the caps from the sealed sample cells (vials).
