2659410 Stablcal Turbidity Standards Calibration Set, 100 mL

Stablcal Stabilized Formazin Turbidity Standards are required to conduct calibration of the turbidity meter. Stablcal Turbidity Standards Calibration Set contains four 100 ml bottles with <0.1, 20, 100, 800 NTU values. Stablcal Turbidity Standards are compatible for use with any turbidimeter. Good calibration technique is important for reliable measurements.

Procedure for frequently used StablCal Turbidity Standards

This procedure is applicable to the daily or weekly used standards.

For bulk solution standards: Invert the content of the bottle 20 times. In order to remove any optical deviations, oil and index the sample cell. After that invert a few times before adding the standard in the sample cell. Rinse the sample cell at least one time with bulk standard solution. Finally, fill and close the sample cell.

For bulk solution and sample cell standards: Leave the sample cell for a few minutes. After 2-3 minutes, the sample cell containing the standard is ready for measurement.

For < 0.1 NTU StablCal Solution: The standard with < 0.1 NTU concentration has separate procedure (see the instructions).

Storage conditions

It is required to keep standards at the temperature from 5 °C to 25 °C.
