Color Test Set reads the color created by dissolved substances indicating industrial, agricultural or natural pollution. The set is suitable for color measurement in the following ranges: 0 - 100 units and 0 - 500 units. Model CO-1 uses Color Disc/ APHA Platinum - Cobalt Standard method. Color Test Kit may be used for unlimited amount of tests. The smallest increments are 5 and 25 units.

Procedure for Color analysis
Before you start take into account the following:
- It is required to install the color disc on the center pin in the color comparator box (numbers to the front).
- It is recommended to pull apart the flat plastic sides, open the color disc and dry all parts with soft cloth if the color disc becomes wet internally.
- It is necessary to hold the light source above tubes during the color match.
Testing procedure
To conduct color analysis in the range of 0 - 100 APHA platinum cobalt color units, set the long-path adapter in the color comparator box. Add deionized water or colorless water up to the top line of the first tube. Insert the first tube into the left opening of the color comparator box. Fill the second tube to the top line with sample. Install the second tube into the color comparator box. Set the color comparator box below the source of light, turn the color disc to match the color and analyze the testing results in Pt-Cb color units in the scale window.
