The DQA340 soil moisture and temperature sensor is designed for accurate measurement of volumetric water content and soil temperature in mineral soils and other porous materials. Based on advanced TDR (Time Domain Reflectometry) technology, it ensures precise readings even in very wet conditions without the need for special calibration for mineral soils.

Applications

Ideal for agriculture, environmental monitoring, and scientific research, the DQA340 helps optimize irrigation management, monitor soil health, and support crop productivity. It can be used both in field and greenhouse environments.

Design and Installation

Equipped with durable electrodes, the sensor can be inserted 11 cm into the soil or fully buried. Its waterproof sealed PVC housing ensures long-term performance in challenging outdoor conditions. The included 5 m cable allows flexible placement and integration with compatible data loggers.
