RZB300-14 is an enhanced system of the RZB300-11 Hydro-Optic UV System. RZB300-14 Hydro-Optic UV System is equipped with eight high intensity medium pressure UV lamps providing broad-spectrum water stream disinfection. MPHI lamps consume 33.6 kW of electricity at maximum power. Total Internal Reflection (TIR) captures UV light photons to recycle UV light energy in the Hydro-Optic UV chamber. Microorganisms are exposed to homogenous UV dose in the quartz treatment chamber. High grade silica quartz sleeve protects the UV lamp and prevents possibility of broken glass and mercury from polluting the water. New waterproof ballast model provides maximum flexibility and simple maintenance access. Deposit Prevention Mechanism (DPM) deters the formation of deposits in quartz tubes.

The maximum operating water stream temperature is 60 °C (140 °F). The maximum maintenance water temperature is 90 °C (194 °F). The maximum ambient temperature is 40 °C (113 °F). The maximum working pressure is 7 bar (102 PSI).
