RZ163-13 is an enhanced system of the RZ163-11 Hydro-Optic UV System. With three high intensity medium pressure UV lamps and total internal reflection from the walls of the quartz reactor, the system reflects UV light back into the water and ensures homogenous UV dose distribution. MPHI lamps emit a broad germicidal spectrum providing complete protection against microorganisms. MPHI lamps are protected by HOD quartz sleeve that is five times thicker than conventional UV sleeve. Lamp replacement can be safely performed during system operation. The real-time monitoring system evaluates HOD UV lamp output and automatically delivers the required UV dose. The customized control provides user-friendly integration with plant controls, remote monitoring and alarm settings for general, UVT, dose out.

Operating conditions

The recommended operating water stream temperature is from 0°C to 60°C (32-140°F). The required maintenance water temperature is from 0 °C to 90 °C (32-194 °F). The maximum ambient temperature is 45 °C (113 °F). The maximum working pressure is 10 bar (145 PSI).
