Purestream PS-900 Ballast Water Treatment System

PS-900 provides vessels with cost-efficient and environmentally friendly water disinfection. 20-micron filter features advanced backwash and self-cleaning mechanism. PS-900 UV system inactivates microorganisms, viruses and bacteria in the toughest water conditions assuring compliance with the strictest inspection process from port authorities. PS-900 operates at the minimum retention time (≤ 24-hours) at the lowest UVT of 40%. The maximum flow rate of the PS-900 Ballast Water Treatment System is 900 m³/hr. The system is equipped with two ballasts electrical cabinets. Purestream system continuously monitors UV intensity, UV transmittance of the water, flow rate and water type, and automatically adjusts the UV dose according to the IMO and USCG regulatory compliance. Purestream One-Pass treatment provides water disinfection in a single pass, reducing the overall power consumption by 50% and increasing the system reliability. PS-900 Ballast Water Treatment System nominal power consumption is 101 kW.
