Purestream PS-500 Ballast Water Treatment System

PS-500 Ballast Water Treatment System provides safe and reliable water treatment for vessels. During ballasting, the water flows through 20-micron screen filter that removes microorganisms and particles. After that sea water, fresh water or brackish water passes through medium pressure UV system that provides protection against a wide range of microorganisms, viruses and bacteria. During de-ballasting, the filter is automatically bypassed and water flows through the system for a second-pass treatment before discharge. PS-500 accommodates the flow rate of up to 500 m³/hr. PS-500 Ballast Water Treatment System is equipped with one ballasts electrical cabinet. Purestream system features user-friendly interface that controls UVT, adjusts the UV dose and monitors the UV output of each UV lamp. Purestream One-Pass approach reduces the overall energy consumption by 50% and increases the system reliability. PS-500 Ballast Water Treatment System nominal energy consumption is 63 kW.
