The EBI 20-TE1 is a versatile temperature data logger featuring an external probe, specifically designed for applications where the measuring point is separate from the logger housing. Part of the ebro® EBI 20 series, this device is ideal for monitoring core temperatures in food products, refrigerators, or specialized laboratory equipment where high-precision measurement is required.
1601-0043 EBI 20-TE1 Temperature Data Logger with External Probe, Ebro
The EBI 20-TE1 is equipped with an external NTC probe (with a 0.8 m cable), allowing for flexible sensor placement while the logger remains easily accessible for data reading. Its autonomous design allows for continuous data collection without a constant network connection, storing up to 40,000 measurements. The device features a large, easy-to-read LCD display that provides real-time updates on current temperatures and battery status. Housed in a robust, IP67-rated waterproof casing, it is durable enough for demanding industrial environments. The logger is fully compliant with DIN EN 12830 and HACCP guidelines, providing the essential documentation needed for food safety and pharmaceutical quality control.
Advantages
- Flexible Measurement: The external probe allows for the monitoring of liquids, core temperatures, or internal freezer compartments while keeping the display visible outside.
- High Memory Capacity: Capable of storing up to 40,000 data points, ensuring detailed long-term documentation across various sampling intervals.
- Robust and Waterproof: The IP67 protection class ensures the logger remains functional in wet, dusty, or humid conditions.
- Visual Alarm System: Programmable high and low temperature limits with an integrated LED indicator for immediate alert if thresholds are exceeded.
- User-Replaceable Battery: Operates on a standard CR2450 lithium battery, offering a typical lifetime of up to 24 months.
- Easy Configuration: Seamlessly integrates with Winlog software for data evaluate and GxP-compliant reporting.
Instructions for use
Configuration requires the Winlog.basic software and an EBI 20-IF interface (sold separately). Preparation: Connect the logger to the PC interface to set the measurement interval (1 minute to 24 hours) and define specific temperature alarm thresholds. Note: Once programmed, the logger can be started immediately or via the Start button. Position the external probe at the desired measuring point. To retrieve data, reconnect the logger to the interface and use the software to download and archive the temperature history in PDF or Excel format.
