Trypticasein Soy Broth (TSB) EP/USP/ISO (catalogue No. 1224) is a dehydrated, non-selective liquid culture medium designed for the cultivation and enrichment of a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including fastidious and non-fastidious bacteria.
The formulation is based on pancreatic digest of casein and papaic digest of soybean meal, providing essential amino acids, nitrogen sources and growth factors. Sodium chloride maintains osmotic balance, while dipotassium phosphate acts as a buffering agent. The medium supports growth of aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms and is suitable for routine microbiological analysis.
